Erik Wihlborg has worked in a variety of roles since 2006. Erik began their career in the Swedish Armed Forces, where they served as a Sergeant - Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) and completed their mandatory military service. In 2012, they took on the role of Social Media Controller at Brand Content, where they used the software Falcon Social to schedule and deliver content driven posts on Facebok, Instagram and Twitter. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at Consulting League as a Country Manager and Business Development Executive. During this time, they were responsible for on-going advisory ventures and pipeline management of new and existing clients, and contributed to the establishment of the CL Portal. In 2015, they began working at Innovayt A/S as a Business Developer and Researcher, focusing on the Swedish market. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at LinkedIn as a Growth Team Lead for Account Executives in the Nordics. During this time, they were voted MVP by peers in the EMEA SMB organization. From 2018 to 2021, they worked at Asana as an Enterprise Sales, responsible for Asana's largest customers in the Northern EMEA region. In 2021, they took a break from work and is now the Head Of Sales at Klimate.co, a platform that aggregates and brokers the best carbon removal projects.

Erik Wihlborg's education history includes a Master of Science (MSc) in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School from 2013 to 2015, a Bachelor's degree in International Business and Politics from Copenhagen Business School from 2010 to 2013, an exchange semester at the University of Victoria from 2012 to 2013 studying International Finance, Sustainable Economics, Leadership, etc., assorted courses in Microeconomics, Marketing, Business Mathematics, etc. at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology from 2008 to 2009, and a Non-commissioned Officer in Military and Strategic Leadership from the 1th Amphibious Regiment from 2007 to 2008.
