Dr. Hans-Martin Schneeberger, born in 1955, is a Swiss citizen and has been a member of the Board of Directors of KLINGELNBERG AG since 2007. He has been President of the Board of Directors of Schneeberger Holding AG since 2003. From 1993 to 2018 he was CEO and from 1988 to 1993 Managing Director and Head of Marketing and Sales at Schneeberger AG. From 1985 to 1988 Dr. Schneeberger worked as a customer and project manager at a European management consultancy. Since 2006 he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Unitectra AG, a technology transfer company, and between 2014 and 2018 he was also its President. From 2010 to 2012 he was a member of the board of Swissmem, an association of Swiss companies in the mechanical, electrical, and metal industries and related technology-oriented sectors. He is currently President of CECIMO, of the European umbrella organization of machine tool manufacturers in Brussels. dr Schneeberger received his doctorate in 1984 from the Krannert Business School at Purdue University in the USA and was a tenure track assistant professor at the Ross Business School at the University of Michigan from 1984 to 1985.

Klingelnberg AG is a Switzerland-based mechanical engineering company. The Company develops and manufactures machine tools to produce gears and gear components made to customers' orders. It has four business divisions. Oerlikon Bevel Gear Technology develops tool adjusting and measuring devices, bevel gear cutting, grinding, lapping and testing machines, tools for spiral and internal gearings, clamping devices for series production and more, as well as software solutions supporting bevel gear design and optimization. Hoefler Cylindrical Gear Technology offers cylindrical gear cutting and grinding machines, machine software and after sales services, such as additional options and milling tools. Klingelnberg Precision Measuring Centers cover quality management of drive elements to assure axially symmetrical objects. Klingelnberg Drive Technology manufactures gear sets in the Company's plants in Germany and Hungary. The Company has sales offices in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
