Gavin Teo

Gavin Teo is a General Partner at Altara Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on technology startups in Southeast Asia, since September 2020. Additionally, Gavin serves as a board member for several organizations, including Staffinc Group, Clevai Edtech Group, Med247, SATURDAYS, Kyan Therapeutics, Klinik Pintar, and Galen Growth Asia, contributing to various sectors such as digital staffing, education technology, healthcare, and health tech ecosystems. As an educator, Gavin lectures at the National University of Singapore and Tech in Asia, focusing on healthcare AI leadership and entrepreneurship, respectively. Gavin holds an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management from The Wharton School and a B.A. in Economics from Claremont McKenna College.
