Markus Knott

Senior Oncologist, Medical Head Trial Unit & Digital Oncology At Stuttgart Cancer Center at Klinikum Stuttgart

Markus Knott has a strong background in oncology and clinical research. Markus is currently serving as the Senior Oncologist and Medical Head Trial Unit at the Stuttgart Cancer Center since July 2020. Prior to this, they worked as a Physician and Scientific Fellow at the Comprehensive Cancer Center Mainfranken from May 2018 to July 2020. Markus also held the position of Deputy Head Tumor Registry at the University Hospital Würzburg during the same time period. Markus Knott's earlier experience includes an internship in Hematology/Oncology at the University Hospital Würzburg, where they were involved in various clinical trials, leukemia and lymphoma treatments, stem cell transplantation, and oncologic imaging.

Markus Knott obtained their Abitur degree from Nymphenburger Gymnasium in the year 2001. Following that, they attended Ruhr University Bochum from 2003 to 2006, where they pursued a field of study in Medicine without completing a specific degree. Afterward, Markus enrolled in the University of Duisburg-Essen from 2007 to 2011, where they successfully completed the Medical State Exam and earned their degree as a Medical Doctor in the field of Medicine.
