Omar Sherif

Omar Sherif has a diverse work experience with a focus on technology and software development. Omar is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Klivvr since 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Partner at Shaghalni from 2019, where they played a crucial role in technology transformation and team building. Omar also worked as a Partner at qpix from 2016 and was responsible for software development and engineering. In 2021, they joined Nexta as the Chief Technology Officer, leading the architectural and implementation aspects of the company's solutions and providing expertise in complex business and technical requirements. Before that, they worked at Microsoft as a Senior Cloud Solutions Architect and Solutions Architect, focusing on engineering and architecting new models and solutions for Azure. Omar also worked at OMS as a Senior Solutions Architect and Cloud Consultant/Engineer, overseeing product strategy and delivery. Omar'searly career includes roles as a Software Engineer at ASSET Technology Group and qpix. Additionally, they held leadership positions at the GUC Microsoft Student Club and worked as a Project Manager at Microsoft, where they were responsible for launching Windows 10 and coordinating student activities.

Omar Sherif completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Information Technology from The German University in Cairo, from the year 2008 to 2014. Prior to that, they attended Al-farouk school from 1995 to 2008, where they obtained their high school degree, focusing on Mathematics.
