Andy Yates

Andy Yates has over 15 years of work experience in various roles and industries.

Starting in 2005, Andy worked as an intern at Roadways Container Logistics. In 2008, they joined Cadbury plc., where they held roles as a Production Team Leader, Manufacturing Execution Manager, and Supply Chain Project Manager.

In 2010, Andy moved to Mondelēz International, where they held several positions. Andy was a Business Development Project Manager, responsible for leading NPD and equipment upgrade projects. Later, they became a Manufacturing Manager and led a manufacturing site within the larger Bournville facility. Andy also served as a Site Operations Leader at Marlbrook, with responsibility for a bulk processing operation.

In 2020, Andy joined Klöckner Pentaplast as a UK Operations Manager. Andy was responsible for manufacturing, supply chain, health, safety, and environment over two food container production sites. Later, they took on the role of Operations Director - Trays North.

Throughout their career, Andy demonstrated strong leadership skills, implemented Lean Six Sigma tools, and focused on improving safety and engagement among teams. Andy also excelled in building cross-functional teams and working closely with stakeholders at various levels.

Andy Yates earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Operations Management from Lancaster University between 2003 and 2007. Andy also obtained additional certification in Prince 2(TM) Foundation Level from ILX/APMG in 2010.
