Dr. Khaled Bagban

Dr. Khaled Bagban has extensive work experience in the field of digital and information technology. Dr. Khaled is currently serving as the Global Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) at Klöckner & Co SE since May 2022. In addition, they are also the Chief Executive Officer of kloeckner.i GmbH since May 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Dr. Bagban worked at Olympus Life Science as the Global Chief Information Officer from June 2021 to May 2022. Dr. Khaled was responsible for leading the digital transformation in the Life Science & Industry sector.

Before joining Olympus, Dr. Bagban held various positions at Olympus Europa SE & Co. KG from April 2014 to December 2021. Dr. Khaled served as the Chief Information Officer of Olympus Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Russia. In this role, they were a member of the Executive Committee and oversaw Manufacturing IT as the General Manager and Head. Dr. Khaled also worked as the Department Manager of IT from April 2014 to June 2018.

Prior to their time at Olympus, Dr. Bagban worked as the Head of Corporate IT - Strategy, Governance & Transformation at Otto Group from September 2011 to March 2014. Dr. Khaled also gained valuable experience as a Manager at Eurogroup Consulting from August 2008 to September 2011.

Dr. Bagban began their career as a Senior Consultant at Deloitte from February 2006 to April 2008. Dr. Khaled also worked as a Management Consultant at Lischke Consulting from 2004 to 2006.
