Jan L.

Jan L. has over 40 years of work experience. Jan began their career in 1981 as a Techniker für Vermittlungstechnik at Deutsche Post and stayed in this role until 1990. Following this, they joined Deutsche Bundespost as a Planungsingenieur für Qualitätssicherungssysteme und Fernwartung, where they were responsible for the planning and management of UNIX-based systems for monitoring and controlling telecommunication sender facilities. Jan worked for Deutsche Bundespost until 1999.

In 1999, Jan joined T-Systems as a Projektmanager and held this position for 12 years. During this time, they gained extensive project management experience. In 2011, they joined cimt ag as a Senior Berater Business Intelligence and worked there for six years.

From 2017 to 2019, Jan worked as a Solution Architect at GVL - Gesellschaft zur Verwertung von Leistungsschutzrechten mbH. Jan then moved to cimt ag again, this time as a Senior Consultant for Business Intelligence from 2019 until 2021.

In 2021, Jan joined XOM Materials as a Software-Architekt and worked there until September of the same year. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Data Engineer at kloeckner.i GmbH.

Jan L. earned a Diplom Ingenieur degree in Nachrichtentechnik from the Fachschule der Deutschen Post Leipzig, where they studied from 1987 to 1990. They then pursued further education at the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin, earning another Diplom Ingenieur degree in the same field from 1990 to 1993. In addition to their formal education, Jan L. has a certification in Talend Data Integration und ESB from Talend, although the exact month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
