Monica Gomez has extensive experience in the field of architecture and construction. Monica started their career in 2001 as a Site Manager at Epic Management, Inc., where they managed multiple school projects. Monica then moved on to work as an Assistant Project Manager/ Design/ Drafting at Guerra Architects from 2005 to 2007, where they were involved in project management and the creation of construction documents.
From 2007 to 2008, Monica worked at URS Corporation as an Architectural Designer and Assistant Project Manager/Design/Drafting. During this time, they gained experience in client coordination, building assessment, and construction documentation.
Monica then joined Kullman Buildings Corporation in 2008 as a Project Architect, responsible for design coordination and offsite construction using Revit and Navisworks software. Monica worked on projects such as the Meridian Healthcare building.
In 2010, Monica joined Gensler as a Project Architect/Job Captain and BIM Leader. Their responsibilities included construction administration and working on construction documents and planning during the design phase.
