David Hofstetter

David Hofstetter currently serves as an IPS Design Engineer I at KLS Martin Group since August 2023. Prior to this position, David was an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the University of Missouri-Columbia from January to May 2023, focusing on the biological synthesis of polyhydroxyalkanoates for biodegradable polymers. Earlier experience includes a role as a Molecular Diagnostics Intern at MilliporeSigma, where support was provided in developing a multiplex RT-PCR assay for detecting COVID-19/SARS-CoV-2 variants. David is pursuing a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Life Science Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the University of Missouri-Columbia, following the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering (Bioinformatics) along with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science in May 2023. Educational background also includes a High School Diploma from Lafayette Sr. High School, earned in May 2018.
