Ziyad Hafeez

Ziyad Hafeez has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. Ziyad is currently serving as the Head of R&D and Tribology at Klüber Lubrication North America, a position they have held since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Klüber Lubrication München SE & Co. KG as the Group Leader for R&D Closed Gears, Valves & Fittings from March 2021 to April 2022.

Before joining Klüber Lubrication, Ziyad was a Research and Development Chemist at Klüber Lubrication NA LP from October 2017 to March 2021. Ziyad also worked as a Research Scientist II at Hydrotex from June 2015 to September 2017.

Ziyad's earlier work experience includes roles as a Graduate Assistant at McNeese State University from August 2014 to June 2015, where they performed trace metal analysis and UV-VIS spectroscopy. Ziyad Hafeez completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin between 2005 and 2009. Ziyad then obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry from McNeese State University from 2014 to 2015. In 2018-2019, they pursued an MBA degree specializing in Quality Management and Operations from the University of Texas at Tyler. Ziyad has also obtained a certification in Executive Leadership from Cornell University in 2023.
