Keegan Mounce

Keegan Mounce has a diverse work experience in the oil and gas industry. Keegan is currently working as the US Quality & Reliability Manager at KLX Energy Services, where they manage and directs all aspects of the Quality and Reliability Department and the Quality Management System. Keegan is responsible for administration, development, implementation, and communication of the system. Keegan also serves as a liaison for KLX Direction Drilling and participates in committees for quality management system requirements.

Prior to this, Keegan worked as the Manager of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control Division at the International Association of Drilling Contractors from 2017 to 2020. In this role, they managed and directed all aspects of the QA/QC Division, overseeing internal audits, corrective actions, and continual improvement practices of the Quality Management System.

From 2015 to 2017, Keegan worked as an Independent Contractor at MIQS, providing independent quality services.

Before that, they served as a Petroleum Advisor at Wollam Petroleum Advisory Group, LLC in 2014.

Keegan's early work experience includes various roles at Weatherford from 2008 to 2014. Keegan worked as a Quality (QMR) Coordinator from 2012 to 2014, where they were responsible for quality coordination. Keegan also served as an RSS Technician from 2009 to 2012, where they received advanced education and provided safety guidance for the organization. Keegan began their career as an LWD Global Technician from 2008 to 2009, performing service and repair of downhole assets and supporting global operations.

Keegan Mounce completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Marketing from McNeese State University, attending from 2000 to 2005. In terms of additional certifications, Keegan obtained several certifications including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (ICBB) from Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth in May 2019, ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor from SAI Global in June 2017, and TapRoot Advanced Investigation Team Leader Course from System Improvements, Inc. | TapRooT ™ in August 2012. Keegan also earned a Certified Quality Engineer CoC from The QC Group and Petrochemical Quality Professional Certification (500+Hrs) from Weatherford, both in June 2012. Additionally, Keegan obtained certification in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 - Integrated Management System Auditor Training from SAI Global in May 2012. Lastly, Keegan completed the Leading Flawless Execution Group-Live Program from Afterburner in April 2012.
