Pipe Recovery Specialist/ Wireline Engineer at KLX Energy Services

Rick Effenberger has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Rick began their career as a Supervisor at Great Basin Painting, University of Nevada Reno, and Intergrated Systems Inc in 1989, where they worked for 15 years. In 2004, Rick started their own business as a General Contractor, which lasted until 2006. Following this, they worked as a Roustabout at D & D oilfield services for a few months. In 2006, Rick joined Weatherford as a Senior Pipe Recovery Engineer, specializing in Cased hole and Pump down perforating. Rick remained with Weatherford for 10 years before moving on to Bullzeye Oilfield Services in 2016, where they served as a Senior Pipe Recovery Engineer until 2017. In 2017, they joined MBI Energy Services as an Engineer, focusing on Pipe Recovery, Cased hole, and Pump Down Perforating. Lastly, Rick joined KLX Energy Services in 2018 as a Pipe Recovery Specialist and Wireline Engineer.

Rick Effenberger attended Truckee Meadows Community College from 1992 to 2002. During their time there, they pursued a degree in Computer Hardware Technology/Technician. However, no specific degree was achieved during this period.
