Karthik Amaranaath started their work experience in 2004 as an Assistant Manager in Corporate Underwriting at Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited. Karthik then moved on to become a Senior Vice President in Reinsurance at K M Dastur Reinsurance Brokers Pvt Ltd in 2005.
Karthik Amaranaath has a diverse education history. Karthik initially obtained a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree with a focus on Maths, Commerce, and Economics from RKM Vivekananda College, Madras University in 2002. In 1999, they also completed their XII, CBSE - Commerce degree at Chettinad Vidyashram. Building on their commerce background, Karthik pursued professional certifications related to insurance. Karthik became a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of India (FIII) in 2002 and also obtained an Associate degree (ACII) in Insurance and Reinsurance from The Chartered Insurance Institute, London in 2004. Seeking further specialization, Karthik embarked on a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management at the Welingkar Institute of Management, which they completed in 2009. Additionally, in 1999, they acquired a degree (ICWAI) in Cost and Management Accounting from the Institute of Cost and Work Accountants of India.
