Sanjay Makwana

Sanjay Makwana has extensive work experience in the finance and insurance industry. Sanjay has served as the Chief Financial Officer at K M Dastur Reinsurance Brokers Pvt. Ltd. since November 2020. Prior to that, they held the same position at Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. from January 2018 to November 2020. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as the Head of Finance at BOI AXA Investment Managers Private Limited. Sanjay also worked as a Senior Manager at Universal Sompo General Insurance Co. Ltd. from 2009 to 2015. In addition, they gained experience at Reliance General Insurance Co Ltd and ICICI Bank Ltd in Mumbai from 2005 to 2008, where they implemented compliance projects, managed financial transactions, and initiated process automation.

Sanjay Makwana attended the University of Mumbai from 1994 to 1999, where they obtained a Graduate degree in Finance.
