Tomasz Nowak

Tomasz Nowak, a seasoned professional in cyber security, currently serves as the Cyber Defense Center Manager at KMD since August 2019, where responsibilities include establishing security teams focused on penetration testing, security operations, and vulnerability management. Prior to this role, Tomasz worked at Citi from October 2013 to July 2019, taking on positions such as Penetration Tester and Vulnerability Assessment Specialist, specializing in IT infrastructure vulnerability monitoring and cloud security. Early career experiences include roles as a Cyber Security & Networks Business Analyst and IT Management Associate at Citi, where Tomasz concentrated on data analysis, process design, and performance metrics. Additionally, Tomasz has a background in journalism, having worked as a journalist for Radio TOK FM, focusing on security and crime-related issues, and as a newscaster at Radio Kampus. Tomasz holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Social Communication from the University of Warsaw and further education from Warsaw University of Technology.
