Katie Vanderploeg

Katie Vanderploeg is currently the CEO and Art Director at Kmotion Design. Katie has over 15 years of experience in web design and development, flash interactive design, and mobile app UI design.

Katie started their career in web development at Internet Services of Michigan in 2000. Katie then transitioned to graphic and web design at Designvox in 2006. In their role as Lead Interactive Designer, they were responsible for the company's website development, flash animation, and HTML coding.

In 2004, Katie joined Knoware, where they served as the company's web design specialist. Katie was responsible for creating flash-based interactive designs and developing mobile applications. Katie left Knoware in 2006 to join Kmotion Design, where they have been CEO and Art Director for the past 12 years.

Katie Vanderploeg studied visual communications at Kendall College of Art & Design, where they earned their bachelor's degree.
