Sharonlyne Graves

As president of KMS Enterprises Inc., Sharonlyne Graves is responsible for all phases of corporate management, business development, and customer engagement. She has more than 30 years of experience in various technical and management positions. She has worked with several Government agencies and private sector companies to design and implement quality programs and management systems.

Ms. Graves began her career as a 2nd Lieutenant in the U. S. Air Force after graduating from the University of Alabama with a degree in Electrical Engineering. She worked as a Program Engineer in different program offices and attained the rank of Captain. After completing 4 years of service, she went to work in private industry.

Throughout the ensuing years, Mrs. Graves professional path took many turns until she became a Software Quality Assurance Manager. In this role, she was responsible for implementing a process improvement program to help her company obtain a Capability Maturity Model (CMM) rating. This position opened the door to other opportunities that led Mrs. Graves to obtain certifications as a Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) Instructor and Lead Appraiser.

In addition to her corporate responsibilities, she teaches CMMI classes, works with organizations to help them prepare for appraisals, and leads CMMI appraisals.
