Colin Gazaui is an experienced production and research assistant with a strong background in linguistics. Currently serving as a Production Assistant at the San Diego Youth Symphony and Conservatory since August 2022, Colin manages equipment setups and adaptions for rehearsals. At UC San Diego, Colin has contributed as an Instructional Assistant for Linguistics 101 and worked as a Research Assistant in the Linguistics Department, focusing on transcription editing of the endangered Tira language and language sessions with a native speaker of San Juan Piñas Mixtec. Colin's educational journey includes pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics at UC San Diego, following a high school diploma from Mt. Everest Academy and experiences at several community colleges.
