Sheri Slater has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2001 at Bell Canada as a Sales Prime. Sheri then moved on to Halogen Software, where they held the positions of Inside Sales Representative and later Manager, Inside Sales. In 2017, Sheri joined Saba Software as a Senior Manager, Business Development. Sheri further expanded their business development skills at Agility PR Solutions as a Manager, Business Development. Sheri then worked at Solink as an Account Executive, where they focused on leveraging business insights from video and POS systems. Sheri continued to grow professionally at Assent Compliance Inc as a Manager, Global Business Development. From 2020 to 2021, they were with N-able as an MSP Manager, Sales, where they targeted MSPs and provided IT service management solutions. Currently, Sheri is employed at Knak as the Manager of Business Development.
Sheri Slater attended Sault College from 1993 to 1996, where they studied Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology. Sheri obtained practical knowledge and skills in this field during their time at the college. Additionally, Sheri has pursued various certifications in the professional domain. In 2018, they completed the "Coaching and Developing Employees" and "Sales Management Foundations" certifications through LinkedIn. In 2021, Sheri obtained the "How to Be a Good Mentee and Mentor" certification, and in 2022, they obtained the "Cold Calling Mastery" and "Sales: Handling Objections" certifications, all through LinkedIn as well.
