Spencer Koehl

Spencer Koehl serves as Chief of Staff at Knaq since June 2023 and holds the position of Venture Fellow at Lakehouse Ventures as of August 2023. Previously, Spencer was a Senior Startup Coach at The IDEA Center at the University of Notre Dame from September 2019 to April 2023, where responsibilities included co-managing the student entrepreneurship program, significantly increasing funding for Notre Dame student startups from $800k in 2020 to over $13m in 2023, and overseeing a team of 14 MBA and graduate student coaches. Additional experience includes roles as a Startup Coach at Loeb.nyc, Venture Intern at Bloomberg LP, and various internships at Platform Venture Studio and Entrepreneurs Roundtable Accelerator. Spencer is the founder of Vagabond Beard Oil and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame in 2023, following education at the School of The Arts and Tokyo Gakkan Urayasu High School.
