John Gaunt

John Gaunt has extensive experience in the construction materials industry, having worked at Knauf Insulation UK & Ireland since May 1998 in various roles, culminating in the position of ComEx Development Director. Responsibilities include negotiating multi-million pound contracts, managing pricing for the GB and Ireland sectors, and overseeing the Independent Merchant Groups and the Ireland sales team. Prior to Knauf, John served as a Territory Manager at British Gypsum and held multiple positions at Ready Mixed Concrete, focusing on internal sales and product representation. Early career experience includes working in the family-owned Premier Taxis business from 1985 to 1990. Education was completed at Sandiacre Friesland and Cloudside Junior School.
