Liesbeth Rhijnsburger

Liesbeth Rhijnsburger is currently serving as Legal Counsel at KNAW - Koninklijke Nederlandse Akademie van Wetenschappen since September 2023. Previous roles include Partnerships Operations at TicketSwap (June 2022 - May 2023) and Junior Legal & Business Affairs Manager at Universal Music Group, where responsibilities encompassed Legal & Business Affairs for various music labels in the Benelux region (October 2019 - September 2021). Liesbeth also interned as a Junior Cultural Officer at the Consulate General of the Netherlands in New York (August 2017 - February 2018) and gained experience as a Legal Intern at Bremer & De Zwaan (May 2017 - June 2017) and an Art Management Intern at ING (September 2016 - December 2016). Educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Civil Law and a Master of Arts (MA) in Arts, Culture, and Politics from Leiden University and the University of Amsterdam, alongside a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Art History and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) in Nederlands Recht from Leiden University. Liesbeth's academic journey commenced at Emmauscollege Rotterdam, where a Gymnasium degree was obtained.
