Tom Winney

Tom Winney is an experienced business development professional with a robust background in the defense industry. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development at KNDS UK since June 2020, Tom previously held the role of Head of Export Sales at Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land from July 2019 to June 2020. Tom's extensive career at BAE Systems spanned from May 2009 to July 2019, where roles included Head of Business Development, International Business Development, Design Services Programme Manager, and Project Manager. Tom’s career began as an Army Officer in the British Army from September 2001 to May 2009. Tom is an alumnus of Northumbria University and Sedbergh.
