David Hodson

David Hodson has had a diverse work experience. In 2022, they began working as a Process Engineer at Kneat Solutions, where they ensure customers receive maximum value from Kneat Products. David's roles include coordinating, facilitating, and performing customer process mapping and implementation in Kneat Gx, pre- and post-sale support to a global sales team and customer base, customer and partner training in use and configuration of Kneat Gx, and development and maintenance of training materials for client-specific and generic applications. David also acts as an SME for Kneat technologies and client processes. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Validation Engineer at Ellab - Validation Solutions. David's roles included authoring, reviewing, approving, and executing validation documentation including protocols, summary reports, procedures, and other life-cycle documents. David also performed calibrations and verifications in support of validation and engineering projects on controlled temperature units, including vapor-phase liquid nitrogen units, freezers, refrigerators, and incubators. From 2016 to 2018, they were a Sales Engineer at Lucideon M+P, where they were responsible for quoting efforts and technical evaluation for material testing and characterization, focusing on opportunity evaluation and technical feasibility. David was also broadly responsible for Account Management, Product Management, and Client Management, as well as some business development and marketing responsibilities. Finally, from 2012 to 2016, they were a Supervisor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where they directed hospitality efforts for conferences taking place on the RPI campus during summer 2015 and was responsible for coordinating work across departments, payroll management for 12 member team, and being on-call 24/7.

David Hodson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute between 2010 and 2016. In May 2022, they obtained two certifications from Kneat Solutions: Kneat Gx End User and Kneat Gx Power User Level 1.
