Wenliang Lu has been working in the engineering field for over 17 years. In 2003, they began their career as a Research Assistant at Southeast University. In 2010, they became an Intern at NICTA. The following year, they were promoted to Senior Engineer at Qualcomm. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Staff System Engineer at Engineering Multimedia R&D and Standards, where they were responsible for estimating personalized Head Related Transfer Function (HRTF) using 3D scanned models and machine learning. Finally, in 2018, they became a Staff System Engineer at Kneron.
Wenliang Lu received their High School degree from Yangzhou High School of Jiangsu Province between 1995 and 1998. Wenliang then obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Southeast University between 1998 and 2002. Wenliang completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Objective Measurement of Speech Quality from UNSW in 2012. In 2018, they obtained a Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera.
