Maarten Kloppers

Maarten Kloppers is an experienced professional in sports coaching and education with a current role as Beleidsadviseur Kaderontwikkeling at Atletiekunie since October 2023. Kloppers has held multiple positions at KNHB since July 2019, including Hoofdtrainer/-coach for the under 14 regional selection in East and North Netherlands and Technisch Adviseur for 25 hockey associations in the region. Previous experience includes serving as a hockey trainer with the Centre for Sports and Education and a hockey coach at MHC Upward Arnhem. Additionally, Kloppers has a background in physical education, working as a vakleerkracht in various primary schools and serving in multiple teaching roles. Kloppers holds a Master’s degree in Politics, Organizations and Learning Histories from the University of Groningen and has completed several degrees related to education and physical training.
