Matthijs de Boorder

Matthijs de Boorder is an experienced sports advisor and hockey goalkeeper trainer, currently serving as the goalkeeper trainer for the MU14 & JU14 teams at KNHB since June 2023. With a robust freelance background in sports and education since April 2011, Matthijs has provided expert consultancy in sports policy, project management, and the development of sports facilities. Matthijs has held multiple roles across various hockey clubs, including significant positions as a goalkeeper trainer and technical coordinator at MHC HBS, AMHC Westerpark, and MHC Alliance, over numerous seasons. Additionally, Matthijs has contributed to municipal sports policy, focusing on sustainability and community engagement within the municipalities of Haarlem, Edam-Volendam, and Stichtse Vecht. An accomplished mountain bike instructor since 2018, Matthijs combines a strong educational background in physical education and project management with extensive practical experience in sports training and policy development.
