Mischa Vermeijs is a co-owner and senior physical therapist at the Sport Medisch Centrum Amsterdam since 2003. Vermeijs has served as a staff physical therapist for the national men's field hockey team of KNHB since 2009, contributing to multiple successes including a bronze medal at the 2011 Champions Trophy, silver at the 2012 Olympic Games, and a silver medal at the 2014 World Cup. Additionally, Vermeijs has worked with the U21 national men's field hockey team, achieving a silver medal at the 2009 World Cup and a gold at the 2010 Eurocup. Previous experience includes a role as a physical therapist at AH&BC from 2007 to 2013, where notable achievements included championships and medals for both men's and women's teams. De Koninklijke Nederlandse Hockey Bond (KNHB) is een professionele sportbond. De KNHB voert een proactief beleid om tegemoet te komen aan alle hockeywensen en -behoeften van haar leden, verenigingen en stakeholders. Meer dan 60 medewerkers zijn werkzaam op het bureau en verlenen ondersteuning aan het bondsbestuur, de zes districten en de 325 hockeyverenigingen met ruim 265.000 leden. Gezamenlijk zetten de medewerkers zich in voor een kwalitatief goed hockeyaanbod. De KNHB is samen met vier andere sportbonden en diverse sportorganisaties gevestigd in DeWeerelt (van Sport) te Utrecht.
