John Nickerson

John Nickerson has work experience as a Purple Knight Initiative Program Manager at Knight Federal Solutions since 2019. John is responsible for collaborating with government agencies, prime contractors, non-profit organizations, corporations and the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce to provide paid internships to wounded warriors. John is dedicated to the safety and welfare of veterans and educating, managing, and training employees on veterans in the workforce. Prior to this, John worked as the Chief Training at the US Marine Corps from 2017 until September 2022. Before this, they worked as the Training Chief at the 1st Marine Division G-3 Training.

John Nickerson attended Park University in 2017, studying Business Administration and Management, but did not complete a degree. In 2020, they enrolled in the Graduate Social Work Program at Saint Leo University but has not yet completed their studies. It is unknown if they previously attended Saint Leo University, and if so, what their field of study was.
