The Legal Team at the Knight First Amendment Institute focuses on advancing and defending First Amendment rights through strategic litigation and legal advocacy. They conduct thorough research, draft legal documents, and represent the Institute in court to address issues surrounding free speech and press freedoms, particularly in the digital landscape. Additionally, they engage in public education efforts to raise awareness about First Amendment protections and promote an open discourse in society.
