Aditi Shankar

Aditi Shankar is an experienced professional in the textile and materials innovation sector. Currently serving as the Textile Innovations Manager at Knix since September 2022, Aditi focuses on integrating innovative fabric technologies and garment construction techniques into new products. Prior to this role, Aditi worked as a Materials Innovator at Canada Goose, contributing to the development of unique materials within the Canada Goose Innovation Lab. Aditi's background includes a position as a Footwear Applications Development Engineer at The Lubrizol Corporation, where efforts were directed towards applications for thermoplastic polyurethane in sports and recreation. Earlier experience includes a tenure as a Textile Technologist at Dyenomite Apparel, leading new product development, and academic roles at North Carolina State University, encompassing both teaching and research assistant positions. Aditi holds a Master of Science in Textile Technology from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Technology in Fibers and Textile Processing Technology from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, India.
