Freddy Monares

Freddy Monares is an experienced journalist currently serving as the All Things Considered Producer at KNKX Public Radio since November 2022. Prior to this role, Freddy worked as a reporter and Morning Edition Host at Montana Public Radio from April 2021 to January 2023, and as a state and county government reporter at the Bozeman Daily Chronicle from May 2017 to January 2023. Freddy also held positions such as Capitol Reporter for UM Legislative Services and participated in various internships, including a reporter and news anchor internship at Montana Public Radio and a summer intern at the Big Timber Pioneer. Freddy's early career included serving as News Director at Kbga College Radio and working as a freelance photographer for the Montana Kaimin. Freddy studied at the University of Montana from 2015 to 2017.
