Michael Saniga has been working in the finance and operations industry since 2004. Michael began their career at Dell Canada as a Finance Manager for Software & Peripherals in Corporate Finance. In 2008, they moved to Cara Operations as the Director of Finance for Milestones Grill + Bar and Harvey's Restaurants. In 2010, they Co-Founded Quant Interpretations, a full-service consumer analytics Technology and Services organization, and led the strategic planning process, developed product positioning, markets, and sales strategies. From 2012 to 2015, they were the Managing Consultant at WRX Financial Group Ltd., delivering financial coaching for individuals and small business, and delivering sales & marketing and clinic-type presentations to large and small groups. During this time, they also worked at Canadore College as a Professor in the Entrepreneurship Academy and Business Management Programs. In 2018, they began working at Sheridan College as a Program Coordinator and Instructor in the Advanced Certificate in Accounting & Finance Program, and at Mohawk College as an Instructor in Continuing Education. In 2019, they Co-Founded knnct Markets Corp. as the VP of Operations, building out the operations team and procedures. In 2020, they began working at Algoma University as a Faculty Member in Business & Economics.

Michael Saniga has an extensive education history. Michael obtained their Chartered Professional Accountant designation from CPA Canada (Chartered Professional Accountants Canada). Michael then completed their CPA/CA and MBA from ICAO / U of T / Western U in 2010. In 2015, they completed the Mortgage Agent Course from the Independent Mortgage Brokers Association of Ontario. Michael also obtained their MBA from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management in 1993 and their BA in Administrative & Commercial Studies from Western University in 1993. Lastly, they attended Notre Dame Secondary School from 1985 to 1990. Michael is currently enrolled in a Doctorate of Business Administration program at Golden Gate University, which they are expected to complete in 2026.
