Brenden Gingrich is a seasoned registered patent attorney and partner at Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, with experience dating back to September 2003. Brenden has also contributed to legal education as an instructor for the Introduction to Intellectual Property Law class at UC San Diego Extension from April 2011 to June 2019. Prior to this, Brenden served as a law clerk for the Honorable Patrick E. Higginbotham at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit from September 2002 to September 2003. Brenden holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, completed in 2002, and a Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Emory University, awarded in 1999. Additionally, Brenden earned an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Delaware in 1993.
