David M. Cohen

David M. Cohen is a partner at Knobbe Martens, specializing in intellectual property and patent law since September 2015. Currently serving as a legal consultant for Expedia Group, David assists the Intellectual Property and Patent Team with matters involving patents, open-source licensing, artificial intelligence, data protection, and technology procurement. Previous experiences include an externship in the Patent Pilot Program at the United States District Court for the Central District of California, summer associateships focused on patent litigation and estate planning, and various engineering and consulting roles. David holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
