Justin Culbertson

Justin Culbertson is a Partner at Knobbe Martens since 2019, specializing in intellectual property law with a focus on patent law and strategy in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. In addition, Justin serves as an Adjunct Professor at Long Island University, teaching a course on Patent Law & the Pharmaceutical Industry. Previous roles include Associate positions at Snell & Wilmer and Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP, where Justin provided counsel on patent portfolio management and strategy. Academic involvement includes part-time teaching at Parkland College and extensive experience as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Davis, complemented by internships in research and development in the pharmaceutical industry. Justin holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law, a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Montana.
