Cindy Villanueva

Cindy Villanueva has a diverse and extensive work experience. Cindy is the Founder and Principal of Knockout Marketing Strategies, LLC, where they focus on achieving outcomes rather than design or experience. Cindy is also the Owner and Master Instructor of Ernie Reyes' West Coast World Martial Arts since 2007. Cindy has worked as a Senior Adjunct Professor in the College of Business and Communication at Concordia University Texas, teaching undergraduate courses in marketing, communications, leadership, and business ethics. Cindy has held leadership positions in various organizations such as Head of Communications and Brand at a mid-stage cybersecurity company, Director of Integrated Marketing at Valimail, Director of Brand and Creative Services at Poly and Polycom, and Director of Brand and Creative Services and Senior Manager of Communications Resource Center at Cisco. Additionally, Cindy served on the Board of Directors for Marketing and Communications at Conexion at Cisco Systems. Their roles at Cisco included leading the IT Creative Solutions team, managing a global executive and internal communications team, and working on employee engagement, culture, and awards programs in the Office of the CMO.

Cindy Villanueva holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Organizational Leadership from Concordia University Texas. Cindy also obtained a certificate in Women in Leadership from Cornell University in 2019. In addition, they have a Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Ethics from Jessup University. Cindy has an additional certification in Cultivating a Growth Mindset from LinkedIn.
