Sonya Bokhari

Sonya Bokhari is a Finance & Strategy Advisor at knodemy. Sonya has over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, and strategy.

Sonya began their career in the retail industry, where they gained FP&A and sales operations experience. Sonya then transitioned to the eCommerce startup Perfumetics Inc., where they served as Director of Finance and Operations.

In 2006, Sonya left Perfumetics to join KPMG US as an auditor. Sonya spent two years at KPMG before moving to Armanino LLP, where they spent an additional two years in audit practice.

In 2010, Sonya transitioned to management consulting, joining Famtivity Inc. as a Senior Management Consultant. At Famtivity, they provided strategic financial modeling, GTM strategy, and fund raising support to early-stage startups.

In 2014, Sonya left Famtivity to join knodemy as a Finance & Strategy Advisor. In their current role, they provide financial and strategic advice to startups and small businesses.

Sonya Bokhari is a venture capital executive and business excellence executive leader who holds a BASc in business administration from California State University - East Bay. Sonya also has certification from UC Berkeley Executive Education in both venture capital and executive leadership.
