João Magalhães has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. João began their career in 2011 as a Co-Founder and Web Developer at Iterar, a Porto based software development startup. In 2012, they took a role as a Web Developer and System Administrator at Savant. In 2013, they Co-Founded vrcare. In 2015, they Co-Founded knok healthcare, a fully integrated telemedicine platform, where they served as CTO. In 2021, knok was awarded as one of the top 10 Telemedicine Solution Providers. In 2022, João was invited to be a Professor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto.
João Magalhães received a Master's degree in Medicine from the Faculdade de Medicina da Universidade do Porto between 2008 and 2014.
