Bert de Brabandere

Bert De Brabandere currently serves as Schepen van Personeel, Onderwijs, Kunstonderwijs en ICT for the municipality of Knokke-Heist since January 2023. In addition, Bert has been an advisor on various topics including sports, general welfare, media, tourism, economy, and work in the cabinet of Flemish Deputy Prime Minister Hilde Crevits since October 2019. Bert's extensive experience includes roles such as a member of the board of directors at WELZIJNSVERENIGING "HET DAK," municipal council member for Knokke-Heist, and treasurer for the Belgian Athletics Federation. Educational background includes a degree in Accountancy-Fiscaliteit from Katholieke Hogeschool Brugge-Oostende and a degree in Economie from St-Leocollege.
