Elise Lucero

Elise Lucero has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Elise started their career in 2015 as an ESL Teacher at VIPKID, where they taught English as a Second Language until 2016. Elise then worked at Indianapolis Public Schools as an Educator and Curriculum Developer from 2016 to 2018. Their responsibilities included designing and implementing curriculum for students. From 2018 to 2022, Elise worked for MSD Wayne Township as a Curriculum Developer and ENL Teacher, focusing on English as a New Language. During their time there, they developed and implemented curriculum for students. In 2020, Elise joined Achieve Virtual Education Academy as a Curriculum Developer and Educator, where they have been involved in developing educational materials and teaching. Recently, in 2022, Elise started working at Knopman Marks Financial Training in a Content Management role.

Elise Lucero obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis. Elise later pursued further education and earned a Master of Arts in Education from Marian University Indianapolis. Additionally, they obtained certifications in English Language Arts and English as a Second Language Licenses from Marian University Indianapolis in April 2019.
