Gergely Szabó

Gergely Szabó, PhD, is a skilled electrical engineer with extensive experience in electric drives and motors, currently serving as a Staff Engineer at Knorr-Bremse R&D Center since October 2018, where responsibilities include system design and the pre-development of innovative products for electric vehicles. Previously, Gergely held the position of Electric Motor Control Engineer, leading multiple low-power applications. Prior to Knorr-Bremse, Gergely worked at Hyundai Technologies Center Hungary Ltd as a Lead Motor Control Algorithm developer, specializing in MATLAB Simulink. Gergely holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, complemented by a Master's degree from the same institution and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Pannonia.
