Laszlo Sebestyen

Laszlo Sebestyen currently serves as the R&D Software Project and Release Management Department Leader at Knorr-Bremse R&D Center since January 2023, overseeing teams in Budapest and Pune in the Brake Control business unit. Prior to this role, Laszlo was a Program Manager at Knorr-Bremse AG from December 2017 to December 2022, managing software programs for the Global Scalable Brake Control product group and leading the Software Project Management Team. Earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Project Manager at Misys, where project leadership for Digital Channels was conducted, and at NNG Ltd., where responsibilities included managing the Naviextras® update platform. Laszlo began a career in management as a QA and Configuration Engineer and has foundational experience as a Lifeguard. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Óbuda University and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics.
