Christian Urban

Christian Urban is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the automotive industry. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer and member of the management board at Knorr-Bremse since October 2020, Christian Urban also leads the Center of Competence for Electronic Brake Control. Prior to this role, Christian Urban held the position of Vice President at MAN Truck & Bus SE, focusing on Cab & Chassis Mechatronics, and was the Director of E/E Integration at Daimler Trucks North America. With a career beginning at Daimler AG, Christian Urban progressed from Engineer roles in Powertrain Electronics and Driving Dynamics to managerial positions in Product Planning. Christian Urban holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering from TU Berlin.
