Danny Overstreet has over 40 years of experience in the sales and marketing industry. From 1978 to 1995, they worked as a Regional Marketing Manager for Information Handling Services, where they marketed CD-ROM and internet technical and regulatory databases to DOD, defense contractors, and corporate accounts. During this time, they increased the base by 25% in 1995, and would have qualified for the Sales Hall of Fame had they remained with the company.
From 1995 to 2000, Danny worked as a Regional Account Manager for USA Information Systems, where they marketed CD-ROM and internet parts database subscriptions to DOD and defense contractors. During this time, they increased the revenue base by 25% over a three-year period and opened a vertical market with a 1500-seat license on a national automotive chain's intranet to increase their federal government business.
From 2000 to 2002, Danny was a Regional Sales Manager for Ovid Technologies, Inc., where they marketed the entire suite of online products, including eBooks, eJournals, databases, and clinical information tools. During this time, they achieved 150% of their goal for 2002 and was recognized with an award at Global Sales. Danny was responsible for the SE Region, consisting of eleven states and $5 million in revenue.
From 2002 to 2004, Danny was a Federal Government Account Executive for Ovid Technologies, Inc., where they were responsible for all federal government sales of eJournals, eBooks, databases, and point of care clinical tools to medical hospitals, research facilities, and agencies, including the CDC, NIH, and DOD. During this time, they were the top North American Representative in 2003 and achieved 107% of their goal.
From 2010 to 2013, Danny held various roles at Knovel Corporation and Send Out Cards - Distributor. At Knovel Corporation, they were an Academic Sales Manager, and at Send Out Cards - Distributor, they were a Senior Manager. Lastly, from 2013 to the present, Danny has been a Business Manager at Emerald Group Publishing.
Danny Overstreet attended the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business from 1969 to 1973, where they obtained a BBA Degree in Real Estate.
