Claus Christensen

Claus Christensen is a seasoned professional with a wide range of experience in the technology, finance, and regulatory fields. Claus began their career in 1985 as a Software Developer at EMBL, where they developed applications for electron-synchrotron beam image visualization. In 1987 they moved on to Vision Systems GmbH, where they served as Group Lead. In 1998 they joined Thielert Aircraft Engines as VP Electronics, where they were responsible for the successful development, FAA- and EASA aircraft certification, and series production of the electronic engine control unit of the TAE Centurion series of aircraft engines for general aviation class planes. In 2000 they became CEO/Geschäftsführer of Servolutions Inc. In 2015 they joined HengXinLi 恒信立 as an Advisory Board Member and Know Your Customer as CEO & Co-Founder. At Know Your Customer, they are an award-winning RegTech company specialised in next generation digital onboarding solutions for financial institutions and regulated organisations worldwide. In 2017 they became a Committee Member at the FinTech Association of Hong Kong, where they focus on increasing understanding of technology solutions to fulfil various regulatory requirements. In 2020 they became Podcast Host of RegTalks, an interview podcast dedicated to the ever-evolving world of RegTech, Fintech and Financial regulations. Most recently, in 2021 they joined CFTE - Centre for Finance, Technology and Entrepreneurship as a Senior Lecturer, where they teach a course on Regulatory Technology in Finance.

Claus Christensen attended Gymnasium Meiendorf from 1976 to 1985. Claus then went on to study Informatik at the University of Hamburg from 1985 to 1987. Claus also obtained a certification in Getting Things Done from LinkedIn in November 2020.
