Deion A. Jordan has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Deion A. currently works as the Director of Teaching and Learning at KnowledgeWorks since 2022. Prior to that, they served as an Educator in Residence at Getting Smart from 2021 to 2022. Deion also has experience working at Crosstown High School, where they held multiple roles including Director of Competencies (CBL), Dean of High Expectations, and English Language Arts Teacher from 2018 to 2022. Before joining Crosstown High School, they worked as an Honors English Language Arts Teacher at Memphis School of Excellence from 2017 to 2018. Deion started their career as a Teacher with Teach For America in 2017, where they underwent intensive training and taught in a summer school program in Memphis public schools.
Deion A. Jordan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Connecticut College, which was completed between the years 2013 and 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Constitution High School, graduating in 2013. In 2011, Deion briefly attended Penn State University to study Education.
