Shelby Taylor has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and marketing. Shelby is currently the Director of Marketing and Communications at KnowledgeWorks. Previously, they held positions such as the Director of Communications and Engagement at the City of Gainesville, where they led a team in developing strategic communications plans for the municipal organization. Prior to that, they served as the Communications Director at the Bob Graham Center for Public Service at the University of Florida, overseeing marketing, media relations, and outreach activities. Shelby also worked as a Public Relations Specialist at Bose Public Affairs Group, providing consulting services in social media strategy and media relations, and as a Communications Coordinator at the Indiana Hospital Association, where they were responsible for writing publications, managing social media, and creating promotional materials. Shelby began their career as an Assistant Director at Ball State University, where they coordinated training programs and facilitated communication between the university and community organizations.
Shelby Taylor earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Florida from 2000 to 2004. Shelby then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Public Relations from Ball State University from 2005 to 2007.
