Billy Roy

Billy Roy, P.E. has a diverse work experience history. Billy started their career at ED PELLETIER & SONS CO. in 2006 as a Surveyor/Laborer and worked there until 2010. Billy then moved on to work at Bangor International Airport as an International Passenger Service Agent from 2010 to 2011. Following that, they worked as a Survey Foreman at Northern Maine Paving Inc. for a brief period in 2011. In 2012, they joined Sargent Corporation as a Surveyor/Assistant Project Manager, specializing in site survey and layout using robotic total stations and Trimble GPS. Their most recent position was at Knowles Industrial Svc Corp, where they had two roles. From 2013 to 2022, they served as a Construction Project Manager, responsible for project buyout and execution, customer relations, bidding and estimating, proposal writing, contract negotiation, and more. In 2022, they were promoted to Vice President of the company. Billy Roy, P.E. has gained expertise in various services such as shotcrete/gunite, concrete repair, pressure grouting and crack injection, protective coatings & linings, masonry restoration, and industrial flooring.

Billy Roy, P.E. has a diverse education history. Billy obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Engineering Management from the University of Maine from 2020 to 2024. Billy also earned a Graduate Certificate in Engineering Management from the same institution from 2022 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Construction Management at the University of Maine from 2011 to 2013. Billy also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in English and French from the University of Maine from 2006 to 2010, and a Bachelor's Degree in Language Interpretation and Translation from the Université d'Angers in 2008 to 2009. In addition to their academic achievements, Billy has obtained various certifications such as ACI Certified Shotcrete Nozzleman, Professional Engineer, ACI Certified Concrete Field Testing Technician, SSPC Quality Control Supervisor, NACE Coatings Inspector - Level 2, Lead Abatement Supervisor, Certified Expansion Joint Applicator, Associate Constructor Certification, and Engineer In Training (E.I.T.).
